राजस्थान, मध्यप्रदेश व छत्तीसगढ़ के विधानसभा चुनाव में हार के बाद प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा कि हार और जीत जीवन का अहम हिस्सा हैं। साथ ही उन्होंने कहा है कि वह हार स्वीकार करते हैं। मंगलवार को आए विधानसभा चुनाव के नतीजों में बीजेपी को राजस्थान, मध्यप्रदेश और छत्तीसगढ़ में हार का समान करना पड़ा।
जिसके बाद मंगलवार रात पीएम मोदी ने ट्वीट करते हुए बीजेपी के कार्यकर्ताओं को चुनाव के दौरान मेहनत करने के लिए शुक्रिया भी अदा किया। उन्होंने कहा, विधानसभा चुनाव के लिए बीजेपी कार्यकर्ता के परिवार ने रात-दिन जम कर मेहनत की। मैं उनकी मेहनत को सलाम करता हूं। जीत और हार जीवन का अहम हिस्सा है। इन चुनाव के नतीजों के बाद हम देश की विकास लिए और ज़्यादा मेहनत करेंगे।

हार के बाद वित्त मंत्री अरुण जेटली ने कहा ”हमें इतने खराब नतीजे की उम्मीद नहीं थी। हमें इन नतीजों पर विचार करना होगा। छत्तीसगढ़ और मध्यप्रदेश दोनों जगह पिछले 15 साल से हमारी सरकार थी। मुझे नहीं लगता की हार की वजह एंटी इनकंबेंसी फैक्टर है, बल्कि थकान है।”
